This makes me giggle!
When you see me do a nose dive for the grass, in an army crawl position...know, it's for an adorable picture like this! I swear, it's amazing I don't hurt myself more when I'm on shoots.
But, how cute is she! How could I not run, drop, roll and snap!

Today was another crazy fun day. With a heartwarming story and a one to make you laugh. Here they are...

Today started out with me being TOTALLY late to bootcamp...well, what's new! After bootcamp, my girls had a dentist appointment. Which, when getting ready for bootcamp...I planned with this in mind. But what I totally spaced out on was that I would most likely smell like a man when I went with my girls to the dentist. NICE...sadly, it was the least of my worries. When I thought about this...all I could think was...eh, what am I going to do! But I did think...I'm going to head over to Target and get a travel size deodorant to keep in my car. This is first on my "to do" list!

Now for the heartwarming story...I met a lady who recognized my girls and shared that she reads my blog.
{insert...trying to hide my shocked look of...me...my blog...you read it!?}
After graciously thanking her for taking the time to read my ramblings. She shared how I had written a nice post on one of my clients. I couldn't help but tell her...what I wrote was ALL true. Then I led into ...that I love each and every one of my clients. I REALLY do! I could list the qualities I love about each one...but most importantly, that they keep coming back to me, share me their family and friends and make me smile. That because of my clients, it's easy for me to stay up late at night. That they make it worth the dark circles, the scattered thinking and the disshuffled look. They give all of themselves to me, so it's a must to do it in return.
And, when I write my fluff on each client...do know, every single word of it is true. I just can't keep my smiles to myself when I think of each of them. And...I guess, I'm just a bit too much of the mushy type!

So for ramblings on this mushy topic...at the start of recent family session, a mother shared how excited she was to have her session as she scheduled it back in April. That she was giddy excited. First thought in my mind and out my mouth...no pressure right! But then I thought...DAMN, I'm one lucky photographer to be work with her and thankful she chose me.
The best part is...when I told her how great her session was going despite how crazy she might have thought...that it was totally typical for a family with little ones to be crazy. She shares that she wasn't worried, that she knew I would get great pictures. Wow...insert double no pressure right!

To the E family....you guys rocked it! And you left me with a fabulous impression from your beautifully sweet family!

I am the lucky one. And I was right, I just got your e-mail and you got WAY too many great pictures. And you managed to do it with two rather uncooperative little ones. Wow. I have no idea how I am going to choose! Thanks, Liz
