My bug lover!

Saturday, February 6, 2010

For as long as I can remember, my blonde has had googly eyes for bugs.

The other day, we found a caterpillar having lunch in my flowers and we quickly snatched him up.

And, like every bug...he has a name.

Meet Buggy Worm.
Right after her nap...which is so not typical for her...she ran straight for her new love.

I love my girl!

Photography what nots:
I just thought how nice it is to read a photographers settings....thought I'd share.
ISO 200
f1.4
SS 1/125
focal length 50mm
window light, from my daughter's right

And other photography jibber jabber:
The light I shot these in is from a northern window and during the afternoon. I truly love shooting with window light, actually more than outdoor light. The light that can be found in doorways or windows is simply gorgeous. Northern window light is often best, but I also like southern light.

If you're wanting to play around with window light....go have fun! But, remember...it helps to open the blinds and drapes. If you're experimenting with apeture mode or learning manual...open that aperture up as wide as your lens will let you and have fun with your shutter.
