Belly lovin'!

I couldn't think of anything sweeter amidst the holiday stampede portrait season...than a maternity session.  I feel like I've hardly spent time celebrating my own belly roundness ...that I took a little time to not only capture the beauty in this expecting mommy's tummy but spend time talking about the beauty in a pregnancy.  

The little miss big sis wasn't feeling at the top of her game...so imagine how hard it was to not want more of this fun personality!  She is a COMPLETE camera lover! Shortly after, she was miserable with what we are thinking is either a flu bug or the DREADED arrival of molars.  Her mommy and I plan to get together soon for some big sis, belly lovin' time!

There truly isn't anything that is more perfect than an expecting tummy. What's funny is this soon to be mommy of two and I are due only days apart.  I can't help but think about the miracle in her tummy, the cherished baby kicks, the  dreams of who their cutie will look like, how nine months REALLY isn't enough time to cherish this miracle, the tears at her arrival, the joy in the parents eyes when they meet their baby girl for the first time, the first embrace, and the welcoming celebration that will be shared with all.

Along with chatting about our shared love in being pregnant, we also celebrated our TRUE first babies.  Yes, I am one of those people.  The kind that view their dog as a child...my little Llasa Poo will always be our first.  Here is one of the first babies for this family.
