I've entered the text world!

Well, after all this time...I've finally decided to get into text messaging.  Why?  Who knows...just something new to figure out I guess.  Before I had friends telling me they sent me text messages to then have them only hear me ask, " How do I read a text message?"  I felt like my parents STILL trying to figure out how to work their VCR from the 80's and looking puzzled just by looking at a DVD player sitting in a box.

My friends know if I EVER answer the other line...it's rare I would click back on the cell phone I had for almost 4 years.  Yes, I never figured out how to answer call waiting and return in one call!   ALMOST always, I would just call back.  SO, if I don't answer your call when I'm on the phone, that is the bulk of the reason.  Now, I'm off to not only master call waiting but text messaging. AND... I so won't be texting while driving!  I've just learned how to manage twin 2 year olds while keeping both hands on the wheel. And no it doesn't involve me handing them fruit snacks with my feet.

So if you text...shoot me a note and imagine me trying to respond looking like a kindergartener learning to type on a computer for the first time.  

Searching for the letter, choosing it... all while 

I'm sounding out each vowel and consanant individually when typing it out.

NOW, a few questions for the texters out there!

Does this mean I'm part of the "cool kid gang"...the cool texting gang!?!  Who wants to teach me the texting lingo? AND who in the world creating this lingo!?

Be on the lookout as I'm just scratching the surface of the new Apple iTouch ipod I got about two months ago. Ahem, which still sits in it's box.  WHY!?  I'm so overwhelmed with it! I think my hubs needs to hold a little teaching lesson on the iPod.  Geesh!
