This past weekend's contest has come to an end...with literally the last vote coming in within the hour. I'm honestly blown away...simply impressed....yet smiling big...smiling because I truly love each of my clients and think they're wonderful. So when I saw the fans lining up to show similar love, I knew that I was blessed by wonderful people that have not only made me smile but make others smile. Isn't that just awesome!
That contest brought in 107 votes..... one hundred freakin' seven! Here's my son's version of a WOOT WOOT! And as written, the winner will be announced on Tuesday! Yep, I'm making you wait!
And personal ramblings.....
~This past week I worked EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. Meaning, I worked during the day and then late into the night. This week...I committed myself to slowing down and will only be working in the evening, with a slight possibility of a photo session. I will happily say, I ended this past 9 day work week with the cutest and sweetest 10 day old newborn. Oh yes...a sweet baby girl!
~My twin sister still hasn't delivered her baby! This is where I'm thankful I was scheduled C-sections with both! I am NOT a patient person.
~I had two photography classes. This past Saturday I met with 6 wonderful women! One thing I learned from that class was that 3 hours needs to be 4 hours with a break!
~My son had his long overdue 6 month celebration session! sniff sniff!
~I know I'm leaving something out....but my sleep deprived brain is literally freezing up on me as I type.
I'll end you with...a reminder of why I don't plan on getting a "portrait" of my three until they're much older. But, reminded me why I love each of them for a different reason. And my BFF was helping me get the job done... with a migraine AND jumping up and down as entertainment. Have I written enough that I LOVE my friends! How did I get so lucky in that department too!?! Amazing friends and family...the good life!
My photography classes have filled up insanely fast. I have two private group lessons. Meaning, a couple girls decided to host a class with their family and friends in their home. And a couple general group classes. How comfy and cozy!
~Class topics:
.learning your way around your DSLR
.covers basic photography concepts: Aperture, Shutter Speed, and ISO
.lighting
.white balance
{note: this class is not designed for photographer's in business as the bare basics are covered}
I currently have one class with three spots open. This class is scheduled for July 25th at 1:30pm, located in Gilbert around Gilbert/Warner.
At this point, I haven't scheduled another class on my calendar, if you're interested please contact me.
Reminder: Holiday session dates will be released at the end of July. My current clients will have a first chance at the available dates before taking new clients. If you're new and want to be one of the first to know, email me at tamiproffitt{at}yahoo.com.
