My life...and what makes me smile! |Queen Creek Family Photographer|

Yesterday was THE day!  THE day I turned 34!  For some....it's either a day you love or loathe...or find yourself SMACK.DAB.Inthemiddle!  I'm the smack dab in the middle!

But yesterday's birthday was different.  It was celebration like I haven't had in years.  Here's how it started:

I woke up with my baby still sleeping, my hubs wishing me a happy birthday on his way out the door, my babies watching Disney channel, me catching up on Big Brother...and my girlfriend dropping off her 16 year old daughter to help with my babies.  Then I had a surprise gift at my door, my girlfriend personally delivering a cup of coffee and a dozen donuts...with the cutest Hurley dress wrapped in a cute gift bag (I'm a sucker for gift bags!).

Surely my day couldn't get better...it honestly started out so sweet that I literally got tears from pure happiness!  I've been a HUGE sappy girl this past week!

But it did get better, the day was flooded with birthday emails, calls and facebook messages!  I again asked myself, how did I get so blessed.  AND the day was then topped off with my husband cooking me a fabulous steak dinner, grilled veggies, a yummy salad and a FAB bottle of wine!  He even topped it off with doing the dishes and cleaning the house.  THIS is what makes me smile! Then my wonderful day ended with me going to bed at 8 pm...which hasn't happened since I think I got pregnant with Easton!  Woohoo!  THE life!

This is my life...and this is what makes me smile!

I know this is weird...but my twins never grabbed their feet!  So when Easton did it...I giggled out loud!  I love this and I finally get to enjoy it with one of my own!
Lastly, my oldest baby!  My sweet Kylee.  To read more about my Ky, click here.
Here with her three babies!  She is one of a few 16 year olds where I can say that a set of 3 year old twins and a baby do not overwhelm her...and they love her.

Update on Kylee!  Ky is good.  She has a few things lingering from her accident, but nothing that therapy can't handle and a gazillion doctor appointments but she's here!  And here with minor injuries and a FULL head of hair!  At one point, we were told her entire head was needing to be shaved due to her head injury.  Luckily, they saved her hair except for a large strip. My cousin...hair cutting goddess...took good care of her.  Here is her new hairdo...highlights and cut!  I happily surprised her with this gift.

Here's how it went down...  Easton and I showed up at her house for a surprise lunch before what she thought was a doctor's appointment.  After lunch, her mother and I took our time driving around on errands.  This whole time I was driving and she never asked questions about what was up....loved it!  Then as I drove into Scottsdale, she still didn't say anything. So I texted her...."when do you plan on getting your hair done?"  I loved looking at her in my rearview mirror to see her confused look...she gave me a smirk and I told her in 10 minutes it would FINALLY be getting done.  The smile on her face made me tear up!  I love this girl!  AND I love this girl so much that I gave her MY hair appointment for my booked solid cousin before her maternity leave.  I then had to top it off by telling her that I now expected her to have my twins in her wedding for me giving this appointment up....HA!  Nothing like giving something with strings attached!
I love you Ky....and my babies love you even more!  You make me smile!
