The mini bump! | Gilbert maternity photographer |

Thursday, June 4, 2009

I had an ultra fabulous time with my cousin and her son for her maternity session on Monday. During the planning process, she actually referred to her session as a mini session...as soon as that was mentioned...I literally fell down laughing! SHE was NO where gettting a mini session! The only thing mini about her session was her belly! I had crazy ideas swirling around my head for our session...then about 30 minutes into it...I couldn't but say that her belly JUST wasn't big enough yet! She has a teeny tiny bump...in so many pictures she JUST didn't look pregnant. How rough is that!

This was one of the pictures that gave the big yellow flag telling me we HAD to do something to make her look preggers!

Although her belly was mini...her session and this blog post are anything but that! Enjoy the picture overload!

I've always thought her son looked like her...below the similarity is incredible! Her first baby...
TOMORROW....I'm having my first contest EVER! Be sure to come back then!
KY UPDATE:
I'll be honest...it now is a day by day adventure. With each day....more issues are arising! Yesterday they were told she had a ripped disk, which was was she was complaining of the neck pain. AND then....had a blood transfusion. Which isn't too much of a shocker, especially after witnessing the amount of blood she lost the day of the accident. I'll spare you the gross details but let's just say there pools involved...and several change of wrappings. The reason for the transfusion ... her blood count was low after all the blood lose but instead of her body working double time in replacing what was lost, her blood count continued to drop. The doctors were hoping that with a transfusion, her body would get a jump start in getting back into action. There was going to be another blood test this morning....I'm praying hard for her! AND praying that they don't continue to have more surprises!
Finally....I have to thank all of my cousin's friends and family for all the prayers they have sent Ky's way. Your prayers are another reason why she is recovering nicely.... THANK YOU!
