When I opened up my blog for updating, I honestly thought I could hear crickets chirping and the sound of dust collecting. REALLY? ! Has it really been that long since I posted anything worthy?
Since I was on top of my game in keeping you in the loop of my daily in and outs and all that I love of photography...it really wasn't fair to fall right off the internet. I EVEN had a few emails and text messages checking in on my status! Ahhhhh, how sweet was that!?!
I've been peachy keen with a tons of craziness surrounding me. The craziness was on top of my first "official" week back to work. I ended up surfacing from my craziness with TWO amazing sessions with the CUTEST kids! Then when I reached the surface, I was welcomed by my editing software doing flips, somersaults and going complete wonkers!
GASP!!!! I had two absolutely fabulous sessions that I was DYING to get started on and yet...they still get no attention! Since these sessions, I've spent a total of 6 hours on the phone with Adobe and a loooooong time with a sweet Apple Genius (i'm a mac user). AND all that time with STILL no resolution and told it's work in progress.
While patience is a virtue...can it get fixed already!
For now...I'll indulge you with some photo lovin' of my oldest daughter.
I'll be sure to be more faithful in keeping you in the know of my status! Pinky promise!;)

Looks Like a Page out of a magazine, or a Childrens Place Catalog :) Her hair looks super cute too!
First, love the photo!
Second, NOT to freak you out AT ALL and praying this is NOT what's happening... Last year I was in the middle of editing a session when PS (I use CS3) started working really slow. And then it basically stopped. I was on the phone ALL day between Apple and Adobe, I even had a sitter come watch my kids (3 under 3 at the time) so I could figure it out. No one seemed to know what was happening. Anyway, the Adobe guy had me reinstall CS3 two different times and do all of these other crazy things until finally he said, "hang up the phone with me, go back up all that you can and hurry b/c it seems like your hard drive is about to crash."
I kid you not, 20 minutes later and HALF-WAY through my back up it quit. Just died.
It was a GLITCH in my MAC and I had to get an entirely new hard drive.
Thankfully I got all of my client work backed up, unfortunately I lost about 3,000 personal photos, movies and iTunes music. I still get teary if I think about it too long.
SO. The moral? Make sure it's all backed up JUST IN CASE! :)
And good luck!
This looks like a scene from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid . . . maybe with a slight younger star . . . but just as beautiful :)
You ARE old enough to remember that movie aren't you? LYG, N
