Thank you for visiting my blog. I'm located in south Gilbert, Arizona. I have twin daughters and one little boy...between the three of them, they keep my days busy between gymnastics and soccer. My children and husband are my biggest support each day.
I can't believe I'm actually writing that I am officially on maternity leave. WELL...except for the last few deliveries to be made...but all business shoots are over! WOW...this has been one incredible, beautiful and learning year for me. Learning in the sense of business/personal balance (failed in this department) and photographing things! But all in all, I can honestly say, I am grateful and thankful for each learning curve, sharp as it was, and the many battles I lost with my camera. Each battle and learning curve has truly made me a better photographer.
ANYhoo, during this maternity leave I have a gazillion goals for me! BUT first and foremost...shoot for TONS of fun with my family! My brain in spinning with ideas for my little guy's first photo shoot...which will begin in the hospital! I have my friend Mags joining me on this adventure...ready or not, here we come!
BUT most of all, having me included in pictures. It was pretty sad when I was chatting with my cousin while she shared a thousand pictures of randomness and thought...hmmmm, I think I have MAYBE 5 pictures of me from this past year. Within those 5 is including my recent maternity pictures...HOW SAD IS THAT!
So, today I started my first adventure in getting used to being in front of the camera! WHICH I so DREAD being in front of the camera!
Here I am, 2 weeks away from my delivery and happy as can be! I'm actually wanting to seriously slow down time to keep celebrating my roundness, the many baby kicks, the jabs, the sleepless nights, and most importantly celebrating our miracle baby that my family was blessed with. For me, I feel whole and most complete as a woman when I'm pregnant! This is time in my life that I honestly savor each minute and truly never want to end. EVEN when my thighs feel like they want to explode from carrying my anticipate " 9 pounder"!
I had such complete fun taking these! I think a new challenge will be doing more self-portraits...this was shot at an insane film speed in my light dungeon bathroom!
NOW, for more randomness from my life and oodles of my children...be sure to check back! I'm sure I'll keep you entertained...there never seems to be a dull moment in our lives!
