Fresh and new!

It was such a nice change of pace as I haven't had a newborn session in MONTHS!  This cutie's mother received her session as a gift from friends....SUCH a great idea!  We had talked weeks before she delivered her baby girl....once she arrived, we scheduled for her daughter's first photography debut at 3 weeks.

Here is the little sleeping beauty....

Um, who wouldn't want a large print of this in their home?

Sweet little baby H...kept trying to doze off but struggled finding her peace with each snap of my shutter.  BUT .... I loved capturing her precious bright eyes!

I left this chunky sweetums wishing and hoping for my little one to have not one, not two, but SEVERAL rolls!  After my twins...which were super tiny...I am craving some serious chunks!

During each pre-session consultation for a newborn session, I spend time talking about how a newborn session CAN take up to 3 hours.  NOT that I want to invade your home while you are celebrating the newness of your baby...but the session is all about having your baby peaceful and happy...in turn having happy and peaceful parents.  It can be hard to envision WHY it takes so long, until you go through this session. It really can't be done any other way...well, it can...it would just involve lots of baby cries. Which is NOT peaceful!

I think the mommy and daddy of sweet baby H would agree that the time I spent in their home was worth it.  So, thank you!  Thank you for not only inviting me into your home but really making me feel welcome.
