Blessed!

On my way home from a session tonight, I was in awe of an Arizona sunset and soon found my eyes filling with tears in thinking of what will be happening in a matter of hours.

My brother will see a sunset on American soil.  My brother has traveled to places that I could only dream of seeing one day. After all his travels, he says nothing beats an Arizona sunset.  He is an Arizona boy.

I am beyond words in describing how I feel right now for him and his family.  I came across a quote on war...that seems only fitting for how our soliders and their families are affected. It could be interpreted in many respects.

"Wars begin where you will,
but they do not end where you please."
~Machiavelli

As soon as he arrives, he will join his family and his baby he left at two weeks old...to travel to Fort Huachuca for work matters.  I am beyond grateful to our government for his unexpected travel home and the time he will have with his family...as short lived as it may be.  I'm not expecting to see him while he is here as his trip is a filled and fast one...but he will be right where he needs to be...with his wife and daughters.  Filling his heart with as much love to last him the rest of his time in Iraq...bringing him home safely in March.
