40 years strong...

First things first...almost all of the men in my family have and are currently serving in the military.  My Uncle being one of them... one of the first deployed to Iraq when the war began...and continues to have dedication to our country by remaining active.  The few pictures below...are just stunning to me....just priceless and created with the idea of capturing his legacy for who follows in his family.  Nothing makes me more proud than being a part of savoring a time in the life of the men and women who serve our country.  My Uncle is a decorated man...and if I tried to write his ranking....I'm sure I would do a great disservice to the title he earned.

Now...on with the purpose of this post.

About two months ago, I received a message from my Uncle wanting a call back as soon as possible.  When talking with him....my eyes couldn't help but fill with tears from a sweet idea, him planning it out, and being asked me to be a part of it.

40 years ago....this man was 19 years old. (sorry to date you Uncle)

At 19 years old, he fell in love.  And soon was married to a beautiful woman.
Photobucket
40 years later, they celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary.
Photobucket
40 years later....still in love.
(honestly...seriously...still in love...the kind of love that can't be staged)
Photobucket
A man who still adores his wife...making her cry in love with his simple whispers.
Photobucket
And giggle with the simplest words...
Photobucket
...and simple giggles.
Photobucket
And fall back in love with a simple, sweet kiss.
Photobucket
And then have the surprise of her life...all planned by the man she chose to marry 40 years ago.
Photobucket
This is just the start of what was to come after this point...I'll leave you guessing with what came next. I'll be sharing more soon!

For now...the W family...your session will be sent to you shortly. Be sure to check email and spam/bulk folders.
