As of today...the rest of my time in this "out of control" hot weather before I leave for the high 80's, perfect weather of Seattle, WA....will be spent getting my house prepared for my time away, playing with my girls, hanging with my hubby and packing. While that may not sound like a lot, the little items on "my things to do" list seems to be going on and on and on but all things that MUST be done. I have spent almost EVERY.SINGLE.MINUTE. working on the computer JUNK that has held up the publishing of a few galleries...and the sad thing is, I've done all that I can do. Now, it's a matter of the final knots getting untied by my hosting company.
For now, here is a little more of a sneak peek from a recent session.
Nurse E's family truly cherish their dogs and I only saw it perfect to try and squeeze one of them in. This dog reminded me of...that person who never wants their picture taken, but is always close to the person with the camera in hopes of sneaking an accidental pose in. Here the pooch hanging by the doorway...was he guarding or waiting for his moment!
During the entire shoot, their dog was ALWAYS near by. It cracked me up and I kept waiting for that right time to get his moment worked in. I thought he was the perfect detail the portrait.

Here is one of our few attempts to photograph the family with dogs and all! I'm always game for including pets in a family portrait, but it's not always the easiest. We tried and tried to get one of their dogs to cooperate but I think he was definitely camera shy. This portrait cracked me up!
And the perfect portrait celebrating his perfection. This little guy was truly a wonderful baby to photograph. So content. Tolerated anything. Very peaceful. Just darn sweet. I'm hoping his personality will rub off on the little guy in my tummy!
Do you think I could use perfect one more time in this post? I'll just sum it up with...it was a photographer's PERFECT session.
While I'm away, I will be checking my email and voicemails. If you don't get a response right away, I'll be calling you when I return on Monday. Everyone, thanks for your patience.
