Super, SWEET workshop!

Saturday, May 10, 2008

Today was filled to the brim, with an amazing workshop on lighting. Basically, pushing me to work with different aspects of light that can be rather intimidating. The workshop began at 9 o'clock and we started with hands on learning right from the start. For the next 8 hours, I think I may have sat for a total of less than two hours, which includes the car rides between locations.

We began at one house with two super adorable children...sweeties to one of the photographer's attending, moved to another house to photograph adorable 3 week old twins...flash back to the toughest stage of twins. We then paused for a short break at the ever-so delicious Paradise Bakery. From there we spent the next two hours shooting at a "not so good" photographing time. We all had fun photographing eachother, some amazingly sweet children and finding different ways to use lighting conditions. This was a great challenge!

Here are just a few from the beginning of the workshop. I'll be sharing more as the days go...

There's that shoe lovin' again! How precious is this cutie, girl stance.

I then topped the CRAZY busy day off with joining the talented Melissa Jill on a family portrait session. My day began with me on the road at 8 am and I returned home at 8 pm! Whew...I need to be in bed.

Hi Tami,

I had a great time getting to know you this past weekend. I love your pictures. You do a great job. I wanted to ask your permission to use a couple of pictures you took of me. I love them and I don't have any of myself to put on my photography blog or family blog. I already have them because I had downloaded them on my computer before you left. I will not use them without your permission, so please let me know. My email is jave@nationwide.net. Thank you so much and good luck with your awesome picture taking skills. You really brought out my natural sillyness and captured it in your pictures. My parents and sibs will really enjoy that.
