There is a story behind how I ended up behind my camera, photographing this ultra cool, tatted out guy. I'll spare you the details but will say how happy I am that this session worked out. This session was beyond exciting. It forced me to take a new approach in photographing people. A session that pushed my creative side and to look with a different eye.
At the beginning of this session, I found myself shooting in the same manner I photograph children, with or without families. I was shooting fast, moving at super speed, and basically looking like a child that had just enhaled 10 pounds of Sour Patch Kids (fav by the way).
While Mr. J doesn't have enough space on his walls for all the pictures I took. He will definitely have several ones to choose from for his upcoming marketing.
A little "get to know" on Mr. J...
1. great sense of humor
2. tattoos make him look rougher than he actually is.
3. can be scary in a ring....hint, hint...
4. has a great, supportive wife
and when I asked him how many tattoos he has,
he said, "One." He has ONE, cool tattoo than.
Now being the black and white junky I am. I really prefer the bulk of this session in black and white. Black and white has such a mood to the presentation.
