Perfect time!

A HOT item for my clients is the ability to purchase the digital negatives from their session. While this is very popular, it leaves me uneasy for a number of reasons. I'll skip the boring details but will share one story that makes my tummy woozie! A recent client purchased their negatives and later shared with me that she had already printed several wall prints. I dreaded asking this question.... Which recommended printer did you work through? My jaw hit the ground when I heard the answer. I was so sad to hear the chosen printer was a local drugstore! What makes this sad for me is knowing that the printer's quality is bad on so many levels for portraits. Portraits that the client and I had worked hard at capturing. Poor printing to represent the investment my client made in their portraits.

The gap in the differences between the local store/warehouse printer and a professional printing lab is....well, I'll say the width of the Grand Canyon and then some. A professional printing lab prints on an individual basis for quality and the local stores print in masses for large volume production.
And the point of this post is.....
The easy availability of the digital negatives from a session will end at the start of May, this year. However, they will continue to be available after a minimum purchase has been met. If you are a huge fan of the digital negatives, this is the PERFECT TIME to either purchase a gift certificate for a session held within three months from purchase date or schedule a session in April. I currently have three dates left available.
As written before, a post is never fun without picture lovin'!
The picture below is full of emotion!
The cute teenage look.

The pictures shared were pulled from my archives! I love when I dig deep and find many pictures that I HAVE to share.

Totally understand your decision and I hope your clients support you. :) Your great work deserves to be printed at professional labs. There is SUCH a difference!

Tami, that's rough. I agree with you guys though- there definitely is a difference and a huge one at that.

Fun pictures, by the way!
