A race I guess!

Saturday, January 31, 2009

So, it's official... I think my son thinks he's in a growing race and he's holding his ground on placing first! At five weeks old, my baby is a whopping 11 pounds 7 ounces! I've always dreamed of having a chunky baby and I DEFINITELY have one!

Yippee for dreams coming true!
And...smiling, cooing and giggling already at 5 weeks old! I LOVE IT!
My heart absolutely goes pitter patter for my sweet Cash! She is "technically" the oldest of my three by 3 minutes....and she definitely acts as the oldest. She has such a sweet spot for her brother!

Update: Slowly but surely I'll be getting my camera groove on again! Be ready, this week I will have my first shoot of the year! A NEWBORN SHOOT! How fun!

My baby...

...isn't such a little baby anymore!  BUT...I have this picture capturing his little sweetness!
The newborn sweetness that is fleeting!

Overload!

Thursday, January 22, 2009

NOW...if you've ever heard me chat about my darlings...then you might have heard me refer to them as having P.K.S. (Photographer's Kid Syndrome). Well...the beauty is my girls are finally surrendering to my love for photography and I have a new baby that I have tons of photography time with. SO...P.K.S. seems to be getting under control.

Today was all about photography! AND it was only occasionally that I saw this face....isn't it cute! Imagine this expression paired with...are you done yet?
But when I have cuteness like this to photograph...how could I stop!

A TOP FAVORITE!

AND another TOP FAVORITE!
My "all personality" daughter!

and....yes this is part of my a photo for 30 days! I just honestly don't remember what day I'm into....hmmmmm!

edited to add: Wow, thanks for all the sweet compliments on my darlings...! Of course I'm their number one fan! AND...I've received comments and a few emails about my daughter's tanks! I would have to give a HUGE shout out to Glitter Box for filling my shopping needs! They were from the early fall! Aren't they the cutest!?

Living it up!

Sunday, January 18, 2009

I'm going to start with...I have the life!  AND I'm completely living it up!  I have the perfect life with three perfect children!

My little guy is three weeks old and I'm FINALLY finishing his newborn photoshoot for my walls and his birth announcement!  Now, what could possibly be holding me up...well for starters the light dungeon I live in!  SO...one of my closest friends has what I call the light house!  Her house is filled with the light any photographer dreams of...and IT is EVERYWHERE!  Here are a few of the fun moments we caught....
I just love this bottom picture....I love my children!  This IS them!
AND the picture below is DEFINITELY how my girls feel about their newest bundle of joy!  My blonde sweetie...while she loves him to death she's waiting for him to grow up!  My brunette sweetie...she is OBSESSED with her little brother!  Any chance she gets, she can be found whispering sweet I love you's in his ear, kissing him and simply soaking up his sweetness!
I love my kids...they are my everything!  And this is my life...the sweet life...the life that can't be staged!

AND J-girl....I {big puffy} heart you! Thanks for ALL your help...

Now, believe me that even when I don't post the pictures on my blog...I am actually taking them daily!  AND, to be honest I am having tons of fun!

While this bottom picture isn't part of the "photo a day for 30 days", I couldn't resist in sharing!  AND sharing the gorgeous new marking on my pictures!  Why you ask...just extra protection in keeping my pictures my pictures!  I hope it's not too distracting.

Randomness!

Thursday, January 8, 2009

My house is filled with one man comedy acts, between my twins and my husband there is never a dull moment!

And just when I thought I had seen the funniest from my sweet Cam...she surprises me with squeezing her feet into her Cabbage Patch doll's shoes! There she was, prancing into the kitchen telling me, "Look mom, tippie toe shoes!" She then left me rolling in laughter!
My girlfriend recently asked if I'd be up for a photo a day thingy...well, Mags....if my photo a day pictures are anything like this I'm all over it! And for my readers...be ready for some serious randomness!

NOW...by doing the photo a day challenge....I may and may not be posting a picture EVERY day! It will depend on my "what nots!" While the main goal is to do a photo a day for a year...to not only challenge myself as a photographer but also get TOTAL daily, friendly use of my camera! When photographing on shoots, sometimes it can be hard to just "shoot for fun" SO that is one thing that seriously draws me to the project! To just shoot for fun!!!!! And...shoot for fun while breaking photography rules, using more photography rules, and pushing the photography envelope when it comes to all things related to photography! My head gets spinning when I think of all that I would love to have fun with!
NOW to be realistic....a photo a day PROBABLY is a lofty goal....so I'm going to be realistic and go with "a photo a day for 30 days!" Now that is more like it! So starting today....
HERE IS ...............photo 1!

AND....

....I managed to choose one more to share out of a gazillion!

My little guy!

After finally being able to move after the delivery...I began Easton's first photo shoot! Almost every newborn shoot I've done, the baby NEVER wants to sleep and the parents simply can't believe it as that's all their baby does is sleep! Well, that is exactly what happened during Easton's first shoot! He was ALL bright eyed....but oh did we get some adorable pictures! Ahhhhh, I'm so in love with my baby!
Seriously....he gets cuter each day!

AND...I am absolutely speechless in the overwhelming amount of congrats on my previous post and through emails! I am humbled.... and blessed by the amount of friends and family that have not only shared their love with me but for my son! Thank you...I love each of you and thankful to have each of you in my life. Especially thankful to have each of you sending warm welcomes to my baby Easton!
